About 15 years ago we replaced 21 old drafty windows with Window World windows. We have been totally satisfied with the windows, especially our sunroom . The windows are insulated with argon gas which blocks out heat and UV rays. You can touch the glass on a hot sunny day and feel no heat.. They have helped tremendously on our heating and cooling bills. We also had them do oversized guttering and boxing . Totally satisfied with the product . After 15 years still looks great and a part of the boxing came loose and Jack sent someone within a reasonable time to fix it. We would definitely recommend their product. We would give window world a five star rating.and we would also recommend Jack Guiler for getting the job completed well. Pressleys are satisfied customers

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A garden window is a three-dimensional window that projects outward from the exterior wall, typically by 12 to 18 inches, to create a small glass-enclosed shelf inside the home. The box-like design features glass on the top, front, and both sides, allowing sunlight to enter from multiple angles. Garden windows are most commonly installed over kitchen sinks and are often used to grow herbs, display plants, or showcase decorative items.

  • Yes. While the front pane of a garden window is fixed, the two side panels typically operate as casement-style vents that open outward with a crank. This configuration allows fresh air to circulate through the window box while keeping the main display area stable for plants or decor.

  • Garden windows are a popular kitchen upgrade because they add counter-depth storage or display space, increase natural light, and create a focal point above the sink. They work best in kitchens with enough exterior wall clearance to accommodate the outward projection and in homes without obstructions such as siding, patio roofs, or adjacent walkways.
